En open access tidskrift inom "earth sciences": eEarth. ..."Its scope ranges from processes in the deep interior of the Earth and the terrestrial planets; magmatism, metamorphism and volcanism; the creation, deformation and destruction of lithosphere; fluids, fluxes, and reservoirs of mineral and energy resources; surface processes such as erosion, transport, deposition of sediments and resulting geomorphology; and the response of the Earth to climate change." The process of peer-review and publication in the interactive scientific journal eEarth (eE) differs from traditional scientific journals. It is a two-stage process involving the scientific discussion forum eEarth Discussions (eED), and it has been designed to use the full potential of the internet to foster scientific discussion and enable rapid publication of scientific papers.
