Genom att integrera bibliotekskataloger, databaser och annan bibliografisk information i sökningarna kommer Vascoda åt även den s.k. invisible web. Mer än 20 virtuella bibliotek och ett antal forskningscentra/nätverk är med i detta projekt. Värt att testa!

För botaniker finns t.ex. många av Alphonse de Candolle's verk, bl.a "Prodromus systematis naturalis regni vegetabilis.." och flera av Linne´s verk. Lund University Libraries launches phase 2 of the directory of open access journals-now with article level search
Directory of open access journals
"The directory now contains information about more than 1100 open access
journals, i.e. quality controlled scientific and scholarly electronic
journals that are freely available on the web. As of today 270 of the 1100
journals are searchable on article level and both numbers are growing.
Researchers can now search almost 46.000 articles through the Directory of
Open Access Journals and be sure to get access to the articles."
